Statement from Davante Adams’ agents Kenny Chapman and Frank Bauer regarding the recent trade talk surrounding their client: “This is baseless, unfounded speculation and Davante is expected to be with the Raiders as there has been absolutely no trade talk - period.”

One is done: Chicago’s No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams is signing a four-year, fully-guaranteed contract worth $39 million that includes a $25.5 million signing bonus and a fifth-year team option, per sources.

Brandon Aiyuk has requested a trade from the 49ers, a source confirmed to ESPN. The news was first reported by NFL Network. Other teams that have reached out and spoken to San Francisco have been told that the 49ers have no intention of trading disgruntled WR Brandon Ayiuk, who officially has requested a trade. 49ers open training camp next week.

Ravens Super Bowl standout Jacoby Jones has died at the age of 40, per ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. Jones was a star return man in the NFL and he will be remembered, in part, for catching the "Mile High Miracle" as well as scoring two touchdowns in the Ravens' Super Bowl victory over the 49ers. Jacoby Jones’ family said in a statement that he passed away peacefully at his home in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Longtime legendary NFL defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin died Thursday at the age of 84, Ole Miss announced. Kiffin was surrounded by family and friends, the school said. In March, he was one of 15 honorees by the Pro Football Hall of Fame through their Awards for Excellence program, meant to honor those who have made longtime significant contributions to the sport.
